Myocardial ischemia can result from a reduction of coronary blood flow, abnormal construction of coronary vessels or a reduced oxygen carrying capacity of the blood.
Figure 6 shows typical results from the readings in a patient with myocardial ischemia (manifested through T-and ST-wave change) [2].
Congenital abnormalities associated with myocardial ischemia are coronary artery fistula, the LAD originating from the pulmonary artery, anomalous origin of the LAD from the RCA or the right coronary sinus and anomalous origin of the RCA from the LAD or the left coronary sinus.
