NAGANO, Japan, May 24 Kyodo Since becoming an assistant language teacher (ALT) at Nishi High School in Nagano, Nagano Prefecture in 1999, David Hathaway, who is blind, has impressed his Japanese colleagues and students with his love of teaching and dispelled some of the ingrained prejudice against disabled people.
In Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, Japanese apricot blossoms appeared 16 days earlier than usual, while cherry blossoms came out 12 days earlier than usual in Nagano, Nagano Prefecture, the agency said.
The four are Daishi Bank based in Niigata and Taiko Bank based in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, Hachijuni Bank in Nagano, Nagano Prefecture, and Higashi-Nippon Bank based in Tokyo.
