Byline: Andy Fletcher GATESHEAD College net-ball coach Julie Kimber has scooped the North East Netball Teacher of the Year accolade at the sport's annual Goalden Globes Awards.
Organisers hope the festival, the first in Warwickshire, will lead to the formation of a net-ball league for primary schools and under-1 1s clubs with matches played at a dedicated venue in the city.
Coaching for boys and girls of any ability in years 5, 6 and 7 is being offered as part of a net-ball development programme that could take youngsters through to achieving county level status.
