It looks as if Frontier will use the Sun- Netscape web and internet software as the basis of IP applications, including email, messaging, calendar, scheduling, voice, fax and others for the outsourcing product it is calling applications networking services.
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Agreement Offers Consumers a Choice of Browser Options on HP and Compaq Consumer Desktop and Notebook PCs Netscape today announced that the Netscape browser will be distributed with all new HP and Compaq consumer desktop and notebook PCs starting in early 2006.
Specifically, it will comprise EEI's enterprise financial transaction exchange (e-FTX), Netscape directory and the two application servers offered by the Alliance - Sun's NetDynamics and Netscape's application server.
