Speaking at the annual New Partnership for Africa's Development (Nepad)-OECD ministerial meeting in Johannesburg yesterday, Karim Dahou, the head of the Nepad-OECD Africa Investment Initiative, said half of this would be needed for maintenance and half should go into building new capacity.
Collaborating on much larger projects with conglomerates such as Microsoft and Cisco in the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), the Intersat Group's main concern is "getting services to the bottom end of the pyramid," said Bakhrani.
Foreign economic relations and international cooperation will be handled by the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), Kadhafi said.
