As such, regimens of two nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTI) plus either a protease inhibitor (PI) or a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) have been, and still remain the recommended treatment choices.
Sustiva will now be available as a 600 mg tablet to be taken once daily, in combination with a protease inhibitor and/or nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs).
