The new draw, which has been given the green light by the lottery watchdog Oflot after weeks of difficult negotiations, will be every Saturday after the main lottery.
A company spokeswoman said commercial confidentiality meant details of the proposed draw could not be discussed but confirmed that the application to Lottery regulators Oflot concerned an ``on-line'' prize draw - where the numbers are drawn - rather than a scratchcard.
Culture Secretary Chris Smith said the independent five-member commission which will replace watchdog Oflot in April can choose any applicant.
