Whilst Rabir holds the film throughout with his comic oneliners, Katrina Kaif provides the melodrama with her Cinderellastyle On the whole Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab is an uplifting comedy showcasing the many talents of young budding actor, Ranbir Kapoor.
And while there are plenty of acerbic Wilde oneliners, mainly delivered by Firth, the humour is in fairly short supply.
A multi-national cast of characters chatter away with generic, cringeworthy oneliners every couple of minutes, halting the flow of the game.
