Osh·kosh  (shksh)
A city of eastern Wisconsin on Lake Winnebago north-northwest of Fond du Lac. It grew as a lumber town in the latter half of the 19th century and today is a resort center with varied industries. Population: 64,100.

Oshkosh Truck Corporation is bidding to supply the Army with 8,500 military support vehicles over a 10-year period.
Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) announced today that its management will participate in the Credit Suisse 2009 Aerospace & Defense Conference being held at the Credit Suisse headquarters in New York City on Thursday, December 3, 2009.
