Picasso in Malaga Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in Malaga in 1881, the son of Maria Picasso Lopez and Jose Ruiz Blasco, a professor of drawing. He was called Pablo Ruiz Picasso, but by 1901 he had dropped his father's surname in favor of his mother's. |
