n.1.(Rhet.) The repetition of a word, or part of a sentence, for the sake of greater emphasis; as, "The living, the living, he shall praise thee."
palilogy, palillogy
the immediate repetition of a word for emphasis, as “the living, the living, he shall praise thee” (Isaiah 38:19).
