I suggest we send them a very strong message - come the next local election no-one votes except for independents like Dr Jackie Gunsell who will stick up for local issues regardless of party politics and who will counter bureaucracy for its own sake, safe in the knowledge that it will win out by 'right' regardless of public opinion.
