QUILTS, wall hangings and cushions will be among the items on show in a patchwork and quilting exhibition in the Barn at Oakwell Hall Country Park, Birstall, this weekend.
THE MIDLANDS has scored another global success with a record number of entrants heading to the National Exhibition Centre for one of Europe's biggest patchwork and quilting shows.
Following her retirement in the mid 80s she began a long relationship with the Shipley, where she developed her interest in textiles and began to learn patchwork and quilting under the guidance of Helen Joseph, keeper of contemporary craft.
