edu/new/np2009/ Jurists on study panel BOSTON - Two judges and a lawyer from Central Massachusetts have been appointed to a panel that will study peremptory challenges in the jury selection process and issue a report of its findings next spring, according to the Massachusetts Bar Association.
The Appellate Court of Connecticut reversed the judgment and remanded the case to the trial court for a new trial, having concluded that the court abused its discretion in awarding the plaintiff peremptory challenges not authorized by Connecticut law.
