Consider the book of Exodus when Moses experiences God in the burning bush and is told to tell Pharao to free His beloved Israel from Egypt.
There, in a bush that was enveloped in fire but was nevertheless not consumed by the flames, the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: "Come, and I will send thee to Pharao, that thou mayst bring forth my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.
For the Scripture saith vnto Pharao, For this same purpose haue I stirred thee vp, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my Name might be declared throughout all the earth.
