All the same, the real future for Pictish studies is seen in this contribution, and even more so in Steven Driscoll's presentation of the Strathearn campaign and that of Gordon Noble and Megan Gondek of the new work ar Rhynie.
Suffice to say here that it is a new landmark in Pictish studies, a century after Allen & Anderson's survey of 1903.
