Joseph Pilates created the foundation for the Pilates method while interning in England and tending to injured soldiers during World War I.
According to the nonprofit Pilates Method Alliance, formed in 2000 to maintain international standards for the training and certification of Pilates instructors, the exercise regimen grew out of the World War I experiences of a German boxer and performer, Joseph Pilates, who lived in England when the war broke out.
I believe by working with instructors here in Dubai and across the world, I can provide quality instructor training in the fitness industry, disseminating the dance industry's best kept secret - the pilates method of exercise.
