plagioclase [ˈpleɪdʒɪəʊˌkleɪz]
n
(Earth Sciences / Minerals) a series of feldspar minerals consisting of a mixture of sodium and calcium aluminium silicates in triclinic crystalline form: includes albite, oligoclase, and labradorite

Plagioclase is typically white, yellow, or reddish-gray, but it can also be blue to black. It occurs in igneous rocks. The minerals albite, oligoclase, andesine, labradorite, bytownite, and anorthite are all plagioclases. Chemical formula: (Na,Ca)Al(Si,Al)Si2O8.

Just like the rocks on Earth, Moon's have lots of basalt and olivine, pyroxene, and mafic breccias, along with plagioclase feldspar, also known as anorthosite.
The xenolith rocks consist mainly of amphiboles (79%) and mica (11%) while the predominant minerals in the matrix are mica (48%), plagioclase feldspar (27%) with lesser amounts of amphiboles (11%).
b) Disseminated type mineralization occurs in the Launay felsic intrusive rocks where gold-bearing pyrite is disseminated in a massive intrusive phase rich in plagioclase feldspar ("albitite"); this type of mineralization is found in Zone "75".
