Plow clevis

Plow clevis

A pair of iron plates clamped onto the end of a Walking plow beam and having a series of holes spaced vertically in them. By then adding other kinds of clevises, such as the crosslink clevis shown in the figure, an Evener could be attached to the plow. Depending on which holes were used in the plow clevis, the plowing depth could be varied.
