Self-employed builder Lee Noble, 40, of Portreeve Close, Llantrisant, was given a 45-day sentence after skipping payments on a house in Llantrisant Road, Pontyclun, between January 2006 and August 2007.
Thomas Bilton, 19, of Portreeve Close, Llantrisant, was fined pounds 200 with pounds 35 costs and banned from driving for 16 months after pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol.
She also leaves twin sister Gillian Jenkins, of Park View, brother David Jenkins, of Portreeve Close, and aunt Jen Nicholas, of Heol Gwynno, all residents of Llantrisant.
