The High Salvington windmill is one of the UK''s few functioning post mills.
The impressive building in Windmill Lane was built in 1826 on the site of an old post mill and is the most complete tower mill in the West Midlands.
Another example of a closed post mill is the one called "de Vlijt (flight)" at Geffen, near's-Hertogenbosch.
