El Día de Acción de Gracias, en inglés Thanksgiving o Thanksgiving Day es un día de fiesta en Estados Unidos que se celebra el cuarto jueves de noviembre y que data de 1621. En esta fecha los primeros colonos norteamericanos (Pilgrim Fathers) celebraron un acto de acción de gracias por el éxito de su primera cosecha en suelo americano.
