The election of the president of the assembly has been pushed to next week.
Trajko Veljanoski, President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, who headed the official Macedonian delegation that also included Antonio Milososki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, assessed this gesture as an opportunity to further develop the relations between the two neighboring countries.
The constitution says if the president is no longer available, the president of the assembly [parliament] will take over as leader for three months and there should be new elections.
