The rope also features a prussic knot attachment that allows hunters to clip their safety harness in and slide the knot up and down the lifeline while climbing.
Before you start to climb, you attach your safety tether to the rope, via a prussic knot or similar sliding device, and slide the tether up as you climb (down as you descend).
Meanwhile, HSS's 30-foot rope Life Line System, with carabiner, provides an archer with a positive stop prussic knot that slides up the line as he safely climbs higher but will immediately halt his fall should he slip.
