Bernard Davies also pleaded guilty to illegally keeping a number of guns, including a pump-action shotgun and a revolver.
It is fired from a pump-action shotgun and can stun dangerous targets for at least 20 seconds, long enough to close the distance and make an arrest in safety.
The second setting of the shotgun is pump-action - the foregrip of the weapon must be manually pumped back and forth smoothly after every shot to eject the used shell and load a fresh round from the internal magazine.
