Qing·hai also Ching·hai  (chngh) or Tsing·hai (tsng-)
A province of northwest-central China. Both the largest and least populated of China's provinces, its northern border is the Qilian Shan. Xining is the capital. Population: 4,820,000.

China's Qinghai province and neighbouring Tibet are prone to earthquakes.
Three people have died and nine have been taken to hospital since the disease struck Ziketan, a town of 10,000 people in Qinghai province, last week.
The latest victim was a 64-year-old man who died on Monday in Ziketan, a remote town in a Tibetan area of Qinghai province where two fatalities had previously been reported, the Global Times said.
