reference frame

reference frame  (rfr-ns)
A basis of a four-dimensional coordinate system in which the first coordinate is understood as a time coordinate, while the other three coordinates represent spatial dimensions. Inertial frames and non-inertial frames are both examples of reference frames. Also called frame of reference. See also General Relativityspace-timeSpecial Relativity

Designed for electrical engineers and students with knowledge of AC circuit theory, basic control theory and electrical machinery, this book explains modern transmission networks, bus reference frames, network fault and contingency calculations and power flow.
Spacetime without reference frames and its application to the Thomas rotation.
After describing the current "teach-and-repeat" approach and its simple, reliable but limited capacity, they describe a host of new ideas such as following nature, using camera space kinematics, supervising through point-and-click, developing holonomic robot kinematics, extending teach-and-repeat to nonholonomic robots, using mobile camera-space manipulation to realize maneuver objectives in the reference frames of moving cameras, and, you guessed it, using the Internet.
