The laser beam from a regeneratively amplified Ti:sapphire laser (Spectra Physics, Hurricane, 800 nm, 120 fs) was introduced to the inverted microscope.
Current engine tests are being conducted under a contract through the Air Force Research Laboratory's Propulsion Directorate at Edwards Air Force Base and as part of development for an advanced regeneratively cooled liquid oxygen/methane engine for space flight.
To reach pasteurization temperature, the product is finally heated with hot water and kept at pasteurization temperature in a holding tube, then regeneratively cooled.
