The rapid, periodic, jerky movement of the eyes during certain stages of the sleep cycle when dreaming takes place.

The work lies within the framework of a project related to the soil temperature sensor of the REMS weather station (Rover Environmental Monitoring Station).
Immediate-release opioids would not be subject to REMS under the current proposal, although some groups represented at the meeting, such as the American Pain Society, called for REMS for all types of opioids.
Since the adoption of FDAAA, a REMS has increasingly been required for product approval, and it is anticipated that requests for post-market REMS will increase with time.
