Rhod·o·pe Mountains  (rd-p, r-d-)
A range in the Balkan Peninsula of southeast Europe extending southeast from southwest Bulgaria to northeast Greece and rising to 2,926.8 m (9,596 ft). In Roman times the range marked the boundary between Thrace and Macedonia.

The website also offers accommodation in three other cheaper hotels: one is in the mountain resort of Pamporovo in the Rhodope mountains, another is in Hissarya resort town in central Bulgaria and the third is in Slanchev Bryag Black Sea resort.
Observations on Ottoman sources reveal that formation of these two groups of Muslim converts in the rural areas of the Central and Western Rhodope Mountain and in Northeast Bulgaria took place in the late seventeenth century and the first two-three decades of the eighteenth century.
