The capital of the British Virgin Islands, on Tortola Island in the West Indies east of Puerto Rico. It is a port of entry. Population: 8,440.

The BVI government recently purchased a small hotel property in Road Town, which is being converted into a hospitality training center, to prepare hotel managers, head chefs, and other staff.
