It is Rogation Sunday, the day the church garden will be blessed.
The tradition is that on Rogation Sunday (tomorrow) church members walk round the perimeter of the parish to check boundary markers are still in place.
Villagers yesterday attended a special service at the church where many had worshipped for decades and accompanied their vicar, the Rev Dagmar Winter, on a traditional Rogation Sunday Walk round the boundaries of the parish.
