In opening remarks at the Jordanian-European Conference on Strengthening the Role of Women in Society, Princess Basma said that despite progress achieved by Jordanian women, some obstacles remained which curtailed their participation in public life.
She said that the role of Women Caucus would be extended to all the four provinces and AJK and Gilgit Baltistan, adding that the ambit of the Caucus would further be extended to regional states at appropriate time.
