Among the systems MCAC is using is the Defense Department's secret internet protocol router network (SIPRNET), DHS' homeland security information network (HSIN) and the Justice Department's Guardian system, which allows users to enter, assign, and manage terrorism threats and suspicious activities.
During the Phase III contract, Avineon will develop and deliver the TRIDW, extending the system designed during Phase II to incorporate a periodical source data extraction over the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network, and a combination of one secured and one unsecured, web-based, data access capability complying with the National Security Agency requirements.
