First, the Submarine Hazardous Material Inventory and Management System (SHIMS) contains MSDS that are out of date and second SHIMS does not upload HAZMAT information from other supply management programs.
This integration will help SHIMS users boost productivity, reduce costs and shorten order fulfillment times while increasing customer satisfaction.
Submarines that are currently using SHIMS need to update their systems with SHIMS SR-1 to integrate improvements into their currently installed systems.
