Boffins at King's College, London, found that saurkraut played a powerful role during the research, reports the Daily Express.
It's in the genes STILL on the subject of taste, scientists at the German Institute for Food Research say the country's traditional love of saurkraut may be inherited in the genes.
Some suggestions were, raw vegetables for enzymes; homemade saurkraut or any fermented vegetables; anything pickled, such as chow-chow (as it was pointed out that many cultures do this for just this reason); drinking pepper mint tea with your meal; and one person recommended eating a gassy vegetable like cabbage with your beans, in the belief that like-cancels-out-like, but somehow I have a sneaky doubt about this one.
