UNDER cloud for a bribe taking scandal involving his son, National Commission for Scheduled Castes ( NCSC) chairman Buta Singh has stirred a controversy again.
Maharashtra has a 288-member assembly with 29 seats being reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) and another 25 for Scheduled Tribes (STs).
The passage of the Bill ensures members of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes will continue to enjoy the benefits of reservation until January 25, 2020.
