sensitive compartmented information facility

An accredited area, room, group of rooms, or installation where sensitive compartmented information (SCI) may be stored, used, discussed, and/or electronically processed. Sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) procedural and physical measures prevent the free access of persons unless they have been formally indoctrinated for the particular SCI authorized for use or storage within the SCIF. Also called SCIF. See also sensitive compartmented information.

SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INFORMATION FACILITY (SCIF) AND SENSITIVE CLASSIFIED INFORMATION SCIF is a "Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility" which is an accredited area where sensitive classified information (SCI) may be handled, stored, used, discussed, and/or processed.
[] Obtained admission relating to the smuggling of TS documents from a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF).
It is an eligible-cleared facility, holds a GSA IT Schedule 70 with 87 labor categories, and has a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) that is used to support its Intelligence Community partners and customers.
