The Catholic Church in Ireland covered up widespread allegations of sexual abuse of children by priests for four decades, a damning official report released on Thursday said.
Byline: MICHELLE O'KEEFFE THE High Court yesterday cleared the way for the publication of the report of the Commission of Investigation into sexual abuse allegations in the Dublin Archdiocese.
The number of children reporting sexual abuse by women to Childline has more than doubled over the past five years, the charity said on Monday.
