Mavambo Kusile Dawn (MKD), meaning 'The Beginning of a New Dawn' in the Shona language, was launched at a low-key event in Mbare township, southwest of Harare.
Shingai - whose name translates as Perseverance from the East African Shona language - added: "I did Burlesque for a bit but didn't get my kit off completely.
According to a news release, Kudana means "to love one another" in the Shona language.
