Sickout occurs at local office SANTA CLARITA -- County building and safety workers failed to show up for work Tuesday in Santa Clarita and elsewhere, in what officials described as a job action.
Caribbean Star and Caribbean Sun are accommodating LIAT passengers affected by the sickout on a space available basis.
The sickout by 11 of the 12 DWP transmission distribution superintendents scheduled to work Friday did not interrupt power to DWP customers, officials said.
