ANKARA, Nov 10, 2009 (TUR) -- Chairperson of the EU Commission of Slovenian Parliament, Darja Lavtizar Bebler, and an accompanying delegation met with Turkish Parliamentary EU Adjustment Committee Chairman Yasar Yakis in Ankara on Tuesday.
In a joint statement, Slovenian prime minister Borut Pahor and his Croatian counterpart Jadranka Kosor said "the Slovenian government will propose to parliament's foreign policy and EU affairs committee that Slovenia withdraw its blocking of Croatia's EU accession negotiations," Deutsche Welle said.
The Manchester United star was involved in a challenge with Slovenian defender Bostjan Cesar who suffered an ankle injury during the incident and had to be substituted.
