Soy´bean oil    (soi´bēn` oil)
n.1.an oil obtained from the soybean (Glycine max), rich in protein, fats, sterols, and phospholipids, used as a food and in paints and varnishes and in various industrial applications; - called also soya oil. It is also used in preparing the sauce called soy or soy sauce.

Brazil, until now one of the world's leading soybean oil exporters, may start importing soyoil beginning next month because of the country's sharply rising need for biofuel production, according to a report by oilseeds analysts Oil World.
Prices of soybean oil rose by three per cent, while those of ghee, groundnut oil and imported edible oil by one per cent each.
