Derek Bell was an upand-coming name in Formula Two who raced in one British GP and went on to make a name for himself as a multiple Le Mans winner, and won two World Sportscar Championship titles in the 1980s.
He would race Formula 1 and Formula 2 concurrently, compete in the world sportscar championship, GT racing, saloon car racing, the Monte Carlo and Alpine Rallies, speed record attempts together with many lesser racing events around the world.
