Steamer duck

(Zool.) a sea duck (Tachyeres cinereus), native of Patagonia and Terra del Fuego, which swims and dives with great agility, but which, when full grown, is incapable of flight, owing to its very small wings. Called also loggerhead, race horse, and side-wheel duck.

BURSCOUGH: Two Falkland Island flying steamer ducks, a male and a female, have been released at Martin Mere wetland centre.
There are birds such as the APTENODYTID PENGUIN, BLACK-EYEBROWED ALBATROSS, FALKLAND FLIGHTLESS STEAMER DUCK, INACCESSIBLE ISLAND RAIL, WHITE-CHINNED SHOEMAKER, BREAKBONES, EPOMOPHORA, GUTTERSNAKE, PADDY UNKER, QUAWK and PEEOO, an addition to the small collection of words with two consecutive vowel pairs.
Desert Prince's collection includes lot 33, a half-brother to a winner out of a winning half-sister to several smart performers, including the dams of top-level winners Steamer Duck (in Italy) and Sakura Laurel (in Japan).
