Hundreds of thousands of revellers are descending on west London to watch costumed masquerade artists, steelpan bands and international DJs perform along the three and a half mile route.
And this weekend the Monarch Beach in Chamberlain Square will be celebrating the vibrancy of the Caribbean with steelpan music, limbo dancing, Cuban dance classes and a reggae band.
For two nights patrons will have the chance to experience the versatility of the national instrument, the steelpan, with the smooth sounds of local musicians such as Andy Narrell, Rudy Smith and other pannists from Trinidad and Tobago.
