Stephen Gould of Bow is a partner in the Boston law firm of Nutter McClennen & Fish, focusing on mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, real estate funds and joint ventures.
The rest of the cast were perhaps better suited to their roles: US tenor Stephen Gould as Siegfried, Australian soprano Caroline Wenborne as Gutrune and Israeli baritone Boaz Daniel as her hapless brother, Gunther.
Simon Russell Beale was the narrator, delivering EE Cummings's ageless English translation with perfect tact, while Stephen Gould sang Oedipus with intensity, Ekaterina Gubanova handled Jocasta's climactic aria with tragic aplomb and Kyle Ketelsen, Andrew Kennedy and Franz-Josef Selig were equally incisive in the smaller roles.
