The caution comes just two weeks after the Queensland State of Origin rugby league squad was rocked by claims that players had been mixing the controversial sleeping pill Stilnox with the energy drink Red Bull, allegedly to produce a "high" that would evade drug tests.
On the night of the murder, Kayssi, a mechanical engineer in his 50s, gave each of his children glasses of juice in which he had melted Stilnox and Lexotanil pills, soporific drugs fatal at high dosage and known to be extremely dangerous for children.
Iinitially launched in France in 1988, it is currently marketed in about 100 countries worldwide under the trade names of Ambien and Stilnox.
