The supranate contains chylomicrons, VLDL, and any beta-VLDL, whereas the infranate contains LDL, HDL, intermediatedensity lipoprotein (IDL), and lipoprotein (a).
The syringe with the fat is then spun in a centrifuge for 1-2 minutes and the excess infranate fluid, damaged fat cells, and irritating oils in the supranate are discarded, leaving only whole undamaged fat cells to be used.
