On 10 July 1976, an explosion exposed residents of Seveso, Italy, to the highest levels of TCDD in a population. We report here only the finding of congener 2,3,7,8 TCDD from seven of the on-site samples. Tests confirmed by three labs in the EU say the defeated Ukrainian presidential candidate had the second-highest concentration recorded of pure TCDD - likely to have been specially made. |
